5. Many reasons but the NHS has been under attack by the Tories for

decades, similar to the ideological shit of the Republicans in the US. They've been slowly eroding the quality of the service that the NHS has been renowned for, and people were warned that Brexit would signal a renewed attempt to sell off the crown jewel that is the NHS. And here they are. By making the NHS shit, they'd be forcing people to purchase private health insurance.

Two of my wife's nieces trained in the NHS, one as a doctor and one as a radiographer (and she is married to an NHS doctor herself). Both have said that there's a real ethos of service which they didn't understand before they joined.

American healthcare has a pretty dreadful reputation on this side of the Atlantic.
