(19,212 posts)45. I spoke with a data manager for two enormous vaccine study groups yesterday
He will be wearing a mask for at least another month indoors with non-family. He has a child too young for the vaccine.
They don't have enough data about transmission and asymptomatic (or mild) cases yet for him to be comfortable unmasking.
These are his personal beliefs and mirror my feelings as well.
