...and physical, and emotional strength to take care of it. No calling the police which is I think is even iffier these days.

Many years ago (thank goodness no weapons) one brawl broke out right near me on the street (sidewalk), and second came sort of careening towards me in a moving subway car to where I ended up stuck in a corner. Luckily we quite soon arrived at a stop, and I safely dashed out! No echoes of upset thinking about it now.

So yeah, I usually pay attention when difficult things happen... (even before those experiences)
