about vaccines.

Nearly all the employees of stores in my community are maskless if they can show proof of vaccination. But there is a Family Dollar store that I go to often for the lowest prices on name brand things like toilet paper, cat food, cat litter, and some canned foods. Every employee, from manager to cashiers, wears a mask. So I commented on it to a cashier yesterday.

She said they wear mssks because it is required if they are not vsccinated. Then she added thst at least they were being honest because a lot of customers without masks are not vaccinated.

I was wearing a mask, as usual. I said that I am vaccinated, but wear the mask as extra protection against delta. She said that she and the other employees did not get vaccinated because of all the terrible things that vaccines cause. I said that I have a number of health conditions and numerous allergies. Since the vaccine didn't harm me, it is safe for almost everyone.

Don't know if I convinced her, but I do know that I will shop there much less often. Their flimsy, loose fitting surgical masks, neck gaiters, and thin cloth masks without adjustable nose pieces are not good protection from the Alpha strain, let alone Delta.

The entire staff is unvaccinated. It is not a safe place for me to shop.
