#1 and #2 are rooted in the same problem, the media refuse to do their job in making sure the politicians have the opportunity to make the case for the Bill as well as fail to make sure that they explain the Bill too. I hate the "sell" terminology being used as if it's a matter of us buying something we may or may not need.

This is life and death for our species and the other species we are taking with us.

Another complaint I have with media coverage is this BS about "saving the planet". We are not saving the planet, we are trying to save ourselves from ourselves and that is why this is so hard to get people to see. Too many are conditioned to see that looking up from their preferred feed on their personal screen is too inconvenient to contemplate let alone the message of the concept. And to accept that we humans are not some divine species that is above all others is against a number of religions, apparently.
