Germany, Japan, Italy and other developed countries are incentivizing reproduction in the face of declining population.
Modern democracies senior care and other social programs are dependent on significant trans generational financing ( this generation paying for a significant part of the current elderly benefits).
A declining population and an increasing average age of the worker creates an increasing future debt that is not sustainable.
One of the reasons that Germany accepted more than a million Syrian refugees.
Increasing longevity and inflation create additional pressures.
One of the reasons that we need the labor south of the border to join our work force.
