That is TDFG's legacy. For always, and for all time. If it is better to be remembered badly than not remembered at all, then TDFG won the game.

Sadly it was symbiotic with our culture, where glitz matters more than substance, where masses of ignorance can decide elections on a whim or a gaffe, or where stupidity can be manipulated by prime time blue-eyed con men and women. It is an illness and a syndrome.
