The 2016 Republican National Convention was ringing with the slogan "lock her up!" in all its meanness, smugness, and lack of justification.

Now, the one most in danger of indictment is the one that actually received the nomination at that convention. Great judgment, there Republicans! Considering the author of the slogan (Chris Christie) and the nominee, Trump, it seems your choice of political leaders is carried out with the same deft assessment as that of your choice of physical fitness consultants.
