I am disappointed that my own two senators were so cowardly that they voted to acquit. However, I wasnt surprised. Marsha Blackburn is pathetic, and Bill Hagerty is such a huge disappointment.
I will be contacting these 7 senators to at least thank them for their votes. I dont believe they will change in terms of aligning themselves with Biden or with Democratic ideals or policies, but I will give them credit for doing the right thing.
I realize that others may have no interest in thanking them but perhaps would still like to contact one or more of them in order to share their thoughts and feelings.
I am surprised that 7 Republicans voted to convict! All of them should have done so. Well, at least these 7 did the right thing.....THIS time.
