I guess this piece has stood up pretty well with time. What saddens me is that so many who were involved in the original deception and cover-up are still in place, still being rewarded for creating ever-greater lies and aggressive secret wars. So many Americans -- some who call themselves progressives -- seem to have forgotten so quickly about them.

Now's the time to remind everyone how wars are made, before we escalate some more.
