Plus our friends who were born here--one who inherited a house out in the Wellfleet woods and grows purple garlic to pay the expenses and the property taxes, and another who cleans swimming pools and hopes to make enough during the summer to pay his winter living expenses, yep, they're just swimming in it. It seems to me that stereotypes say more about those who use them than those they are meant to depict.
