1) FBI received the complaint about the harassing emails in May 2012, not June-August.
2) We do not know when Dave Reichert was contacted by the FBI employee, but it was certainly before October 31, because
3) Cantor and his people talked with the FBI employee on Saturday, October 27. Cantor contacted the FBI on Wednesday, October 31. Cantor's office explains the delay as resulting from Hurricane Sandy, which left federal offices "closed" for Monday October 29 and Tuesday October 30.
