As Republicans actually grow tired of Trump's shit, they realize that Trump = Republican Party right now and most of them will leave the party, at least temporarily. As Republicans that are truly anti-Trump leave the party, that means the concentration of pro-Trump people in the Republican Party increases, which means his support increases on a percentage basis, but not on an overall numbers basis.

This is why you see almost 60% of voters approve of his being prosecuted even as more Republicans support him. The people that are truly anti-Trump are not Republicans (Democrats, Independents, ex-Republicans) and are increasing in number while Republicans (i.e., the party of Trump right now) are dwindling, but the truly anti-Trumpers are leaving the party so of course support within in the party (on a percentage basis) will increase as only those that support him or will vote for him are left behind in it.
