(26,348 posts)being underpriced, the thugs at the Stock Markets would scream and yell.
What really gets me here is that you know who really is benefiting from all of these insane prices? Not the workers, not the consumers, but the owners, the same owners that have owned McDonald's for who knows how long, whom received one of the biggest tax cuts in history when the orange loser gave them a huge tax cut in 2017 (he got part of the tax cuts too). And they still are complaining that it's not enough. Talk about gratitude, eh? How long did it take for these companies to finally raise their minimum wages?
And McDonald's should not be the only company being complained about, they all are doing these escalating price increases, Arby's, Rally's, Burger King, Sonic, Taco Bell, and the list goes on.
It's funny, these meals used to be considered 'fast food', cheap, and quick. NOT any more.
Support your local family restaurant. Their prices are better, their portions are better, and the service is great. We have some great restaurants in the city of STLMO (mexican), and we're so lucky, so happy. We get a meal there, and it's literally 3 meals, not 1.
