(5,359 posts)21. My retirement/401k is the highest it's ever been - right now; my salary
is the highest it's ever been - right now. Last year I finally bought a new car (after having the old one for 17 years). I was doing OK just before Covid, but I'm doing better now in most respects.

Everyone I know is way better off now than before 2020. Higher income, better jobs. Heck my youngest is graduating
