(11,778 posts)22. Happened in Klamath county, and it wasn't a total eclipse.
Huge issue for areas not able to handle the traffic and immediate population explosion. Some areas will have 2 or 3 gas stations, suddenly hit with 100,000 people expecting fuel. People park everywhere, including on the roadways. Emergency vehicles are blocked by parked cars. The grocery stores are cleaned out. Trash, human waste, you name it, all left for the local government to pay to clean up. It's definitely a good news, bad news deal, depending on the area.

My daughter was in Utal on October 14, 2023 and she filmed a solar eclipse. No fear then.

The 1st one is the annular solar eclipse of 2023. The 2nd is the total solar eclipse that's happening Monday.
