Mowed the lawn here in Upper Michigan today [View all]

There are flowers on the honey berry bushes in the backyard and the dandelions are blooming. Birds are singing early in the morning.

Last year on the 1st of May, we had a winter storm with 11" of snowfall. Most years, there can be snow in shady parts of the woods till very late May or early June. Snow has been gone here for quite a awhile already this year .
