There were many posts here aout this. And he couldn't even do that. It was pure chaos here as he made the pandemic all about him. He simply couldn't let the experts set the policy, he had to pretend to be the expert on everything.

Sure, Republicans still would have fought Hillary whatever path she chose, but she would have made sure everything about Coid was as free from politics as possible. The medical experts would have been front and center, not the president.
