1. As a non-Christian, I always enjoyed Christmas whole-heartedly.

And back in high school I began looking into all the Christmas traditions that seemed to have little to do with the birth of Jesus.

That was 35 years ago and as so many are coming to realize, Christmas is much more a folk festival with Christian thingies tacked on later.
