The Republicans are now giving the Democrats the mantle of "party of middle class tax cuts".


If he were writing a script he couldn't ask the Republicans to take a stupider path.


Now he can just wait for the markets to beat up the Republicans all the way to Jan 2nd.


They have painted themselves into a corner and all they are doing is asking for more paint.



After the markets have lost 20% of their value the Republicans are going to be jumping to agree on the taxes and he can hold firm on the stimulus.

Someday these days will be remembered as the 'good ole days' when the Republicans just wrote themselves off the cliff of relevance.
