If President Biden steps aside the only acceptable option would be for Vice President Harris to be the nominee. I would go through a grieving process if Biden steps aside, but I would of course vote for Harris and a new VP.
If people try to shove her out of the way and replace the whole ticket? I don’t think democrats would stand for that. Then it would look like something nefarious and undemocratic.
