On edit: So now that I've read the article, I don't know that it's enough. They only met in 2020 and Biden had a lot on his mind.
As far as Biden greeting him the same cheerful way several times at the same event, someone with more knowledge of Biden would need to speak on that. It might just be a way of filling awkward silences.
