after the House and Senate confirmed the results of the 2020 election.
President/Vice President/Members of Congress have traditionally been viewed as being residents of their home states who happen to be in DC for their jobs - many senators and reps have residences in the DC area where they stay for part of the year. The issue you should be investigating is where are Newsom and Harris registered to vote.
