(29,820 posts)55. Actually, it might be racist from maybe 40 years ago.
Mountain Dew ( or Kickapo Joy Juice ) was always sort of a "hillbilly drink" when I was a kid. Associated intentionally with back woods of the Appalachian mountains... and associated with NASCAR ( of course NASCAR started as contests between moonshine drivers in the back woods too ). Almost entirely white people ( poor white trash is what we used to call them ). Very racist if you were of person of color that "didn't know your place" or you didn't like to be called "boy". Haven't been around any of those people or NASCAR events or such for nearly 50 years now, so that might all have changed today.
The only thing I will say about Mountain Dew is... DIET Mountain Dew? Seriously... ewwwww. That shit is horrible.

They believe anti-white racism is a big problem, they're the true victims, system is rigged in favor of non-whites

I guess it has to do with this 10+ year-old ad. More of an anti-goat ad IMO.

He's trying to bait us in to making the issue about race and not on the issues affecting all Americans. Project 2025.
