A question for the group but especially for the RW lurkers... [View all]

The RW is adept at the daily outrage: Obama’s tan suit is one of the best examples….its always fucking something with them, very persistent and generally very stupid, beneath contempt usually. But here’s the best part…the outrage of Tuesday is immediately forgotten on Wednesday with a new outrage which disappears on Thursday. Yes, it’s supposed to be a firehose of negativity but in fact is just stupid gasping and grasping at straws.

So here’s a thought: suppose for the sake of argument that the shooter hadn’t missed from the rooftop and, I’ll be civil and polite, Orangina was incapacitated to the point where he could not stand for election (or even erection). Could the DNC sue the R Campaign because the Dems spent all this money on advertising against Fuck-o but he’s being replaced? Because that is the logic the Republicans, if you still want to call them that, are using in this week’s outrage.

How dare the Democrats listen to them and choose a “more viable” candidate from their perspective? Logic and any form of reasoned intellect is out the window. It’s HATE 24/7. That’s the platform.

As an addendum, I might suggest watching of the series The Man in the High Castle . Once you get past the early set-up episodes, it becomes a fascinating study of how Americans would make loyal and committed Nazis. It also demonstrates how the autocratic system self-immolates eventually. Terrific concept and execution.
