And -- even worse -- in trying to kiss their ass to gain their support that never came, he tossed aside other staunchly Democratic groups under the bus and often railed against some of the most fundamental tenets to our party.

In short, he happily hurt Democrats and the Democratic brand in an effort to help himself -- and he still lost.

He can stay wherever he has been.
