14. What I have never understood is why the media has given Trump a pass since 2016.

He has always been treated with kid gloves. Even today, after years of provable lies and absolute nonsense coming from Trump, the WaPo headline about Trump’s news conference was “Trump holds meandering news conference, agrees to debate Harris.” Meandering! How about Trump lied throughout his news conference and was so confused that he claimed to have gone down in a helicopter with Willie Brown when he’s never been on a helicopter with that Brown and never been in a helicopter crash. He may have meant Jerry Brown, former governor of California, but Trump regularly tells stories that have no basis in fact yet media reporters never call him on his lies in real time when he is lying. Why? They certainly aren’t shy about attacking Biden or any Democrat.

I know media owners want to protect their ability to pay few taxes, but this treatment of Trump just seems exceptional.
