Something I've noticed: Kamala Harris vs Hillary Clinton [View all]

(And I apologize in advance if this opens some old wounds, but I just thought it was something nobody else has mentioned)

Many of the more left-leaning Dems, as I recall, in 2015-6 claimed that HRC was a "war hawk." I personally believed that if this was so, it was out of necessity. The first female presidential candidate would be attacked as being weak on defense as a matter of course due to rampant misogyny in the country, so of course she had to appear strong and it would come across as hawkish. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I don't see the same thing happening this time around with Kamala, at least if it has I haven't noticed. Perhaps Hillary blazed the trail for her, and now that a woman has at least won the popular vote, it is less of an issue.

Just random observation and speculation...
