71. You'd understand if you'd ever dealt with underwires

Not a single one managed to stay in its holster. The metal inevitably pokes out and digs into the ribs or armpits, leaving bruises and sometimes even cutting us. Shoulder straps in the old days were notorious for being harsh enough to chafe our skin raw. Advances in elastics and other fabrics have fixed most of that problem...but some bras out there still chafe our shoulders.

If men had ever had to wear them, they would have burned the old school bras after one day's use, never mind a lifetime of it.
