Encouragement in my red city. [View all]

I live in the reddest county in a very red state, so I sadly have expected to see many Trump yard signs the past few months, just as I saw during the past two elections.

Today, while driving to and from an appointment, I was very happy to count 10 Harris/Walz signs and only 2 Trump signs (and one of those was a really tiny sign.).

Trump yard signs seemed to be everywhere I turned in 2016 and 2020, but they are certainly very scarce around here now.

I am cautiously hopeful that this is a national trend reflecting people's discontentment with the Orange Dingleberry.

My local Democratic candidate yard signs are out, and I am so hoping that Gloria Johnson wins! She is such a wonderful person. Please, no more Marsha Blackburn!!

My Harris/Walz yard sign is on its way! Woohoo!
