That was my impression of JD Vance. A slick talker but said very little.

It seemed to me that his orders going into the debate was to mention "Kamala Harris" one hundred times and blame everything on her. That is what Donald wanted. He may not have reached that goal but he came damn close.

Although it started rather slow, and Governor Walz looked a little shell-shocked, it did not take him long to get in his groove. On closer examination, Governor Walz won by just being himself, in my opinion.

In the end, JD Vance could not say that Donald Trump lost the election. He blamed it on "censorship" by Kamala Harris. He said it was a "peaceful transfer of power". It was not.

That was likely the turning point of the debate.
