As to Melania Trump's view on abortion, the wives [View all]

of the rich have not had to face the same misogyny as women who are not affluent. My grandmother loved to read history and my grandfather didn't so much. The library was mostly hers and she could afford to build a library of her favourite books. I brought a secondhand bookseller I knew over to take a look at her books when she moved out and he brought in one box. When he saw her books were great history books from the last 100 years (her father had a library too and only two daughters), he got his girlfriend to go out to the car to get 'all the boxes'. Compare that to Betty Davis whose first husband divorced her because she read. I'm assuming she, as an artist, could afford a divorce but what happens to the women who can't? It is the same with Melania. Different rules apply to her. She can fly anywhere to get a safe, legal abortion and she always could even though she lives part of the time in Florida. She still supports her husband. She is enabling him.
