There was literally no time to have it be that noticeably affected for 99 percent of consumers. I work in the grocery industry and we have been stocking and anticipating this potential strike for some time. The pandemic really made us prepare for shortages from supply chain disruptions. Any shelf bareness would likely be that Walmart's own issue with stocking or its distribution center not shipping it.
