9. "Immunity" applies only for Trump and his acknowledged successors

In 2000, the SCOTUS established that it could make singular decisions that don't set a general precedent. Doesn't even have to say so explicitly, but just watch how quickly the flow of legal consequences proceeds should a Democratic president's actions deviate from established lawful norms. There's damn near half the country thirsting for president Biden's blood in the name of vengeance.
