If each gave a million, that would be 700 million.

If each gave 5 million, at the Taylor Swift level, that would be 3.5 billion.

I reckon most of them make well over 5 million on an average day.

Millions of people could be helped, and they wouldn't even feel a pinch. They wouldn't even notice the money was gone.

Instead, many will spend billions this election cycle to elect candidates who promise them and their businesses huge tax cuts.

So they can amass even more money that will sit in their bank vaults and offshore accounts.

Dolly isn't even a billionaire, but she puts many of them to shame with her generosity, her good spirit.

Many people reading this pay more in income taxes than the super-rich and the mega-corporations.

So it goes.
