3. I would love to hear of more studies on migrations, like this, that are discontinued but resume....

Doesn’t that beg some questions about how the salmon do it? It’s always fascinated me.

As a kid I saw the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom shows, and the travails of the salmon. The company my father worked for contracted in some auxiliary way to some kind of “ladders” upstream for them (I never really knew how or what, I was very little.)

Are the salmon doing something passed down or imprinted in some way? Are they responding to some clue in the water of tributaries, following their noses?

Nevertheless, this is GREAT news!
