3. Other gun related incidents...

Back in High School one of the biker kids, who always carried a gun, probably on school grounds too, got shot after an argument at a party. Suburban kids shooting other suburban kids. I was there and Melody was the guy's girl, but my good friend, and I spent that night consoling her at the Emergency room at Mather AFB where he died. Melody struggled for along time and developed a few problems. Sadly she was ejected from a pick up that flipped (with a huge bunch of girls in the back) on the Dam Road leaving our senior party at the Lake.... tragic

My friend Cindy, long divorced, along with her then 12 year old daughter, witnessed her ex husband stick a gun in his mouth and pull the trigger. Not pretty and both those people are seriously screwed up due to that. He had just bought the gun apparently and was the only shot ever fired from it.

My (now ex) brother in law loved guns and his favorite argument tactic was to threaten to kill himself with the gun. His wife told me he would routinely put the barrel of the gun in his mouth and threaten to kill himself. The gun was always loaded and ALWAYS within his reach. On top of the fridge, by the bed... Teenager in the house as well.
