Sinclair says it won't air Jimmy Kimmel on its stations after Disney announced his return

Sinclair, which owns ABC affiliate stations, said it will not air Jimmy Kimmel's show after Disney announced on Monday that it would return Tuesday night.

"Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming. Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show's potential return," the company said in a statement posted to X Monday.
