... we have created so much bad karma in the last 70+ years. From Vietnam onward, and we'll never live any of this down.

For anyone who was raised a Catholic, you'll understand my meaning: Chump is our penance. This is our time in hell for all the bad deeds the American government has done in our name. I was born in 1951 and that encases a LOT of bad deeds.
