I agree with what you described.

Except in the back of my mind I keep thinking why do we need to regulate capitalism? Isn't there an economic system that doesn't have to be so tightly controlled to keep it from falling into corruption?

There's got to be an economic system that doesn't promote lawlessness and abuse.
