and it has haunted me to this day. My sister had about $30,000 worth of dental work done. It started with an individual dentist, he then sold his practice to a chain, and every time she went in there were different dentists. She also had bone grafts. Some things had to be redone.

It took a few years and at the end, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It was everywhere in her bones and most organs. She had no warning until one day the bone in her arm broke. She was active and healthy, saw her doctor regularly, and had quit smoking 35 years before. She died a month after the diagnosis. Her GP was shocked.

I don't know that the use of cadaver materials for the bone grafts caused it but I can't shake the possibility. Corporate/private equity takeovers of dental offices is done to make money for investors so I will never trust them.
