Stress is so problematic that it keeps me up and night and without enough sleep I'm not much good as a person with so much on my plate. I've always had lots of responsibility and have managed it, but this is different. There have been a few periods in my life I've suffered violence and abuse. During those periods everything is difficult to manage. What we all face now is bringing out similar feelings in me.
I am sure others who have suffered trauma are finding coping difficult now as well. The uncertainty of what's next, the constant threat to our well being, the removal of safe spaces and rights, skyrocketing prices, watching others victimized, worry about my grown children, war, being a woman...
