this "teenaged boy once, and I can tell you that being an obnoxious asshole pretty much comes with the territory. " does not get off with boys will be boys. if you got away with talking about girls, women in this manner, a good giggle of raping unconscious girls, then you are not ALL teenage boys. i get called on saying ALL men, ALL the time, when i am not saying it. yet when we want to excuse a behavior we say this is just how teenage boys are.

i have teenage boys. not all teenage boys talk about girls in this manner. not the teenage boys that have been taught about the societal conditionings of privilege. not the boys that have been raised to know this is not acceptable. not the boys that have a conscious. there are boys in that very tape thinking it is crap and challenging the kid. THEY are not part of your teenage boy obnoxious. and beyond the fact the kid said he raped the girl in the video, this kind of talk is NOT ok within the circle of buddies, that validate this behavior to each other, and leads to fuckin gang rape cause their peers are just being obnoxious assholes.

this is unacceptable.
