father with an 11 y.o. daughter. i would rather warn her about her habits and ways of dressing around guys instead of consoling her about a rape. yea it shouldnt be neccessary and guys should take no for no but they dont. we live with animals in this society some murder, some rape, some commit fraud so bad they almost destroy a nation. so while in principle women should be able to behave and dress anyway they want to, to some men it's an invitation. it is offensive but it's better than rape.
