4. My wife works at a local JC and is a member of KNEA

A few years ago, two colleagues in her department refused to join the union. Everyone else was a member, but these two colleagues constantly badmouthed unions and the KNEA. Constantly!

But they were first in line to receive pay increases and improved benefits fought for by the union!

Since then, one colleague retired and the other moved up into administration. Now I believe every member of the department is a KNEA member!
