- In fact if you check my previous posts - that is about all I do . Frankly I have lived most of my life outside of North America. I cannot imagine anyone who has done a lot of traveling and living abroad making such a broad brush comment. Most of the world actually likes a lot of things about America and hates a lot of things about America - Almost everyone thinks Americans are personally about the friendliest and most polite of all Western peoples. Even most of the Middle East thinks that way - pretty much everyone does. Pretty much everyone wants to visit American. I will be criticizing American policy to my dying day and certainly denouncing American aggression and American support for aggression. But I have to temper that with the knowledge that America is the land of extremes - a lot of good and a lot of bad. A lot of wisdom and a lot of foolishness. A lot education and a lot of ignorance. That is how the vast majority of the world thinks about Amreica.
