IIRC it was called the 'over-the-shoulder' delivery.
Basically you'd nose down and pick up speed, pull up into a loop, and release bomb as you just started to come back out of inverted to nose down again.
This was supposed to sling the bomb behind you as you hauled ass out of the area.
Yeah, right.
