The church controlled much of the political and economic power. They wouldn't allow us to shop on their holy day. They also said nobody can sell or use alcohol on any day. My religion didn't have a prohibition against alcohol, why should my life be regulated by your religion.


The government and the business world had its measure of power, but the ones that really impacted our daily life was those self appointed mouthpieces of God.



Corporate Tyranny, is not as demanding as religious tyranny. Still bad.
