Showing Original Post only (View all)A plea: Do not create any more 'shout out' threads. They waste the GD hosts' time [View all]
This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Violet_Crumble (a host of the General Discussion forum).
I'm not a GD host, but I can see the host discussion group, and they are having to spend a lot of time discussing all these threads. We all know they are pointless, either satire or meaningless "I'm on the same side as X" posts.
On DU2, threads like those would be locked on sight as copycats. They were one of the few times mods were allowed to act on their own - because nipping the silly meme in the bud saved everyone's time. The format of DU3 has not included such a useful clause. But, to stop making DU suck, will everyone just lay off?
Thanks.
