6. What idiot schools would even allow that

I was in Kansas City, MO on business when the Kansas State School Board instituted the teaching of creationism in public schools. This was around 1986/87. Immediately after that action, the governor announced that he had the authority to abolish the state school board. He did just that. He pointed out that any state with such a ridiculous instructional program was likely to deter high tech and biotech companies from moving to Kansas (something they were trying to accomplish).

Now, we've got fools in charge at every level. I'd love a list of school districts that go for this.
